Short Bio

Anne is a writer who loves exploring different genres through her writing, but her main joys come from writing otherworldly fiction and fantasy. Growing up, she liked to play pretend with her siblings, and together they would create imaginary worlds where they would lose themselves playing for hours. While she no longer plays pretend, she now creates her own worlds through her stories.  As a lover of all form of storytelling, she loves to read and watch television, and these have birthed the bulk of her inspiration. She has written several short stories including, The Last Ride, which was featured in Klorofyl Magazine’s 5th anniversary Nomads themed issue.  Some of her other work can be found on her blog, www.ajdafeta.wordpress.com.  Beyond writing, she actually has a day job as an Information Technology Specialist, where she helps deliver payment solutions to businesses; and when she is not working, or writing, she likes to play her guitar.

Occupation

Medical Doctor (specifically,  Ophthalmologist)

Short Bio

My full name is Abidemi Amina Abudu nee Mohammed. I’m the mother of a 4 month old daughter and I’ve been married to my best friend for 2 and a half years. I graduated as a medical doctor from LUTH in 2008 and I’m currently specializing in Ophthalmology. I spend most of my free time watching films,  writing and reading. My dream-job is filmmaking. I’m a keen follower of football and politics and a keen observer of life. I was born and bred in Lagos (Eko for show!) and I’m an unapologetic realist.  Usually compassionate and kind but I never suffer fools. I’m an amateur writer and I’m yet to publish anything.  Most of my writing is for the scrutiny of my friends and the sarcasm of my husband.

  1. Giving to children charity is a worthy cause. I love children and anything to make a child’s life better is everything to me. A child hurts because we don’t care. So let’s start caring today, please make the change for our children and do something. You won my vote. God bless.
